ABOUT
I’m Joanna Derengowska, a Seattle-based photographer specializing in creative portraiture. I completed the University of Washington photography program and hold a degree in Theater Studies. My work has been exhibited in galleries and featured in travel publications and online. Lumeworks, my West Seattle studio, is a flexible space for client sessions, studio rentals, and collaborative projects with local creatives.
LUMEWORKS
Lumeworks is a West Seattle photography studio serving individual and corporate clients, as well as the creative community. To support local artists, I offer studio and gear rentals, assist on projects, and host Studio Lighting 101 workshops. As a photographer, I create distinctive images using both natural and studio lighting, in the studio and on location.

I thrive in creative, editorial, and conceptual collaborations, as well as family, maternity, and milestone photography. I work with dedication to create portraits and headshots for individual clients and corporations.
MY WORK
My work has been featured in art galleries, travel magazines, and online. I completed the University of Washington photography program and earned a degree in Theater Studies. Throughout my photography journey, I have enjoyed taking part in photography workshops in Mexico, South Korea, and the United States. Though mostly focused on individual clients, I cherish taking part in social and art photo projects.
